ABOUT MENicolle is a senior studying Civil Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. When Nicolle grows up she would like to be a traffic engineer. Her interest in traffic engineering was sparked by the frustration of waiting in traffic. She decided to study Civil Engineering to one day fix the traffic problem in Southern California. Once Nicolle took her first transportation-related class, she fell in love with the field. When Nicolle isn’t studying or waiting in traffic, she enjoys listening to podcasts, going to concerts, traveling and being outdoors. Her favorite outdoor activities are camping, hiking and snowboarding. Nicolle also pole vaulted for the NCAA Cal Poly Pomona track and field team for three years.
