ABOUT MECharles Truong is currently a fifth year Civil Engineering undergraduate student at Cal Poly Pomona. My main fields of interest within civil engineering are transportation and land surveying. His primary professional goal is to have a successful career as a licensed civil engineering and land surveyor. In his free time his hobbies are to play video games, play and watch sports, listen to music, eat out with friends, and to read about science and technology.
Email: [email protected] ROLE IN PROJECTHe is serving as the surveying team lead where he is responsible for creating project boundaries using record information and interpreting topographic surveys to provide constraints for our geometrics design team.
He is also responsible for organizing field surveys to perform scans with a LIDAR scanner around our project site. His goal with the LIDAR scans is to provide an accurate and detailed 3D model that will enhance audience’s visual experience. Additionally, he is member of the technique and training team where he assesses the technical skills needs of the entire project team. COMPLETED COURSES
